How to drive car with your Brain: Car that can be steered by thought

This post is about first experience semi autonomous driving and fantastic Artificial Intelligence
one of my favourate subject in colleg days.

Human brain produces electromagnetic signals and can be measure by commercially available  sensors for recording electroencephalograms (EEGs), which are basically the electrical outputs your brain produces while it thinks.
Scientists in Germany have equipped a car with new technology that measures the driver's brain waves.A computer is programmed to distinguish the particular electrical patterns that are produced when a person thinks certain commands, such as "left," "right," "accelerate" or "brake."

"In our test runs, a driver equipped with EEG sensors was able to control the car with no problem — there was only a slight delay between the envisaged commands and the response of the car," said Professor Raúl Rojas, who headed the project at Freie Universität Berlin.

There is alot to go ahead as this is just proof of concept and a first step towards for success where in future drivers and can just think and drive in high traffic roads and even on the rapid highways.
