International Women’s Day on 8th of March

A major day of global celebration of women is on 8th of March originally called International Working Women’s Day.
The first International Women’s Day occurred on March 19 in 1911, basically to celebrate women's achievement throughout history and across nations, their rights and International peace. On this dayPrussian king promised to introduce votes for women in1848, but he failed to keep the promise. Then the date moved to March 8.
International Women's day is a public holiday in Countries like Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
It's so great, New studies claim that women are more competitive than men specially in tough and critical situations and are more aggressive and dominant than men too.


The International Women’s Day logo is in purple and white and features the symbol of Venus, which is also the symbol of being female.
