Disable most recently opened Documents from Task Bar in Windows 7

Right click on Task Bar
Go To Properties
Switch to Start Menu Tab
Customize then Advance
Disable most recently opened Documents in
Windows XP
Un check List my most recently opened Documents
To remove or Clear most recently accessed documents
If you don’t want to Disable Recently accessed documents
Then you can clear it from Task Bar Properties.
Right click on Task Bar
Go To Properties
Switch to Start Menu Tab
Click on Classic Start Menu then customize it as shown above
Click on Clear will clear your most recently accessed documents without Disabling the original Function.





For Windows 7 user; Follow above steps to go to "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties". Click on the "Start Menu" as shown in the below image and un-check both the privacy options.
